At this moment I'm still experimenting with the various combinations of my latest batch of creme, Khrome and glitter polishes, so this is today's layering experiment.
What I used for this manicure:
- OPI Nail Envy
- Seche Base
- China Glaze Sci-Fi
- China Glaze Snow Globe
- Seche Vite
Then I applied two coats of Sci-Fi. This polish is made of liquefied Metal of Awesome (popular component of many Swords of Might, Mayhem and Melody).
Then I added two coats of Snow Globe and sealed it with Seche Vite. And this is where things got interesting. Some of the glitter was nigh-invisible and made the polish look dented or pockmarked. Struck by meteorites, even (my other choice for today's title was "Craters of Io, Batman"). That said, Snow Globe would have required two coats of top coat to give it a smooth surface.
Looks pretty nifty, in my opinion. And, um, sorry about that corner of my knitting poking into the photo. ;-)
What's your favourite amongst China Glaze's glitters? I still have Atlantis and Sour Apple to try.
