NotD - Midnight Lavender

I was thrilled to get my latest Eyeko order yesterday, including five new polishes (annoyingly, the green Vintage polish was not included in the set I ordered). After a bit of cardboard-swatching I decided to do a simple two-coloured nail with Lilac Polish and Indigo Polish, which I really like next to each other.

These are the polishes I used, excuse the CND bottle facing in the wrong direction, please.

Base: Sally Hansen nailgrowth miracle and CND Ridge Out
Colours: Eyeko Lilac Polish For Lovely Nails and Eyeko Indigo Polish
Division: LOOK by BIPA nail tattoo liner 1 silver
Top Coat: Seche Vite

This design is another on of the really easy ones, as the silver line covers wonky lines.

I'm really impressed by Eyeko's new polishes, the old ones were a bit hit and miss in texture and application. I've only used these two of the new ones, but I really like them.
Lilac Polish is a very sweet soft purple, similar to an almost pastel lavender. Not everyone will feel comfortable in this shade. The opacity is good, I used two coats, but I suspect I would have been able to see the tip of my nail through it, if I had applied it on the tip. Lilac is a fairly runny polish, which I don't mind at all.
Indigo Polish is one of those dark base and bright shimmer polishes that you can find everywhere right now (yay!). The base reminds me of Vamp Polish, but it's not as blackened. The electric blue shimmer is amazing. The first coat was very streaky, but it's even and fully opaque in two coats. I really love this polish, and I'm not usually that fond of blue!

What polish colours do you like to combine?
