NotD - A Three-Year-Old Did It, Honestly

As you can read in today's title, a three-year-old did my nails. Totally. That's the story and I'm sticking to it.

OK, you got me. I'm not a very good liar. I'm not terribly proud of today's manicure but neither do I have time to fix it, nor did I prepare anything for such cases.

So here's what I used (all new except for the SV):

  • OPI Nail Envy - So looking forward to seeing if this works for me!
  • Seche Base
  • China Glaze Dorothy Who?
  • Orly Star of Bombay
  • China Glaze Millennium
  • Seche Vite

The base manicure I applied yesterday, because I was so excited about my new polishes. I started with one coat of Nail Envy and one of Seche Base. Then I added three coats of Dorothy Who? and one of Seche Vite. It was obvious that I would have to add something, as Dorothy Who? is seriously sheer.

So today I grabbed a liner brush and added random, partially overlapping curved lines with Star of Bombay and Millennium.

Then I added two more coats of Dorothy Who? and sealed the manicure with Seche Vite.

The contrast is especially visible on the photos, so it actually looks a bit better in normal lighting. I'm not totally happy with this, but at least I have ascertained that Dorothy Who? is gorgeous and looks great over silver and dark blue.
What's going on with y'all?
