I’m slowly working my way through my latest box o’polish and yes, CucumPear finally owns a proper holo polish.
This is what I used for today’s manicure:
- NailTek Intensive Therapy II
- Color Club 871 Wild At Heart
- Seche Vite
- China Glaze 2030
- Sally Hansen Diamond Shine
I started by applying one coat of NailTek as base coat, followed by three coats of Wild At Heart and one of Seche Vite.
Wild At Heart is a holo polish, the main colour is a rich mid-purple. Its opacity is excellent, Wild At Heart is opaque and even in two coats.
The application is lovely and smooth and considering that the brush is a basic round one, it’s very nice. I can absolutely recommend getting that polish!
Here is Wild At Heart in two coats without top coat:
This is Wild At Heart in three coats, sealed with Seche Vite photographed with flash and without flash under one of those natural spectrum bulbs (I’m slowly figuring out what setting to use):
Then I used a dotting tool, 2030 and on some nails Wild At Heart to apply different patterns onto my nails and sealed the manicure with Diamond Shine.
I’m definitely on a simple pattern roll right now. But don’t worry, I’m always plotting something funky and way too difficult for my freehand skills. ;-)
